Peter Wallis, Vice President and honorary member of the HSS, died peacefully on 2nd March 2022 at the age of 97 after a short deterioration in his health. He will be well remembered by members as a past Secretary of the Society and then as Treasurer before John Tennant took over the role. His contributions to the Society were considerable and much appreciated. Our condolences to Elisabeth and to his family. A full obituary is to be provided.
