As you will have seen from the August and December 2016 Newsletters, Thames Water havev been conducting major works on the reservoir site which houses both the Observatory and the Meteorological Station since September 2016. As a result, we have had to remove the meteorological instruments from the site, and have therefore broken our long record of observations. The current plans are for the works to finish in March 2017, and then the Society will need to restore the electricity supply and re-instate the instruments.
