LUNAR ECLIPSE MARCH 2007

SATURDAY 3rd MARCH 2007

A Lunar Eclipse took place starting at 9:30pm and ending at 1:20am on the Sunday morning
The Hampstead Observatory extended its normal opening hours .

Over 100 visitors at the Observatory enjoyed perfect conditions for this beautiful total eclipse.
This image taken during to totality by Doug Daniels using an Olympus E-500 digital SLR camera with a 450mm Watson telephoto lens with a x2 telenegative booster.

The totally eclipsed moon shines redly
